My opinion on technology in the classroom is that we as teachers need to put in the effort up front to be proficient in the area of technology. Also, we need to create lesson plans that don't just require a basic search on the Internet but ones that allow the student to think about the content and be able to see how topics and issues can be linked and interrelated. The biggest reason for using technology in the classrooms is that it excites the students. The students love technology, they use it in their personal lives everyday, so to be able to integrate their digital world into the classrooms will only be beneficial.
